Made in a crisp delicate European style to be aroma rich wine.  No oak or malo-lactic were used allowing the natural flavors from the mountain vineyard to shine through.  This pretty wine has minerality on the back and finish and a firm acid structure throughout.  This balanced wine will accompany Asian food and light chicken or pork dishes.

Blend: 100% Amador County Vermentino. 51% Lyman Vineyard Shenandoah Valley, 49% Rubidoux Vineyard Fiddletown.

Vineyard/Vintage Notes:  Amador County’s high elevation mountain vineyards are well suited to the production of full flavored varietal Vermentino.

Tasting Notes:  This Vermentino shows hints of peach blossoms, roses, lime and jasmine.  The grapes were picked when ripe but not over ripe producing a balanced enjoyable wine that goes well with food while not overpowering it.
